Our Story
From Beverly City to Burlington City
Jason started tattooing in Beverly City, NJ and built up a following there before opening Mr. Tattoos & Piercing at 673 High Street in Burlington City in 2008. That is still the address. Has been for going on 17 years.
People come from Bordentown, Mount Holly, Moorestown, Medford, and all across Mercer County to get tattooed here. The shop has a 4.7-star rating with hundreds of reviews. We did not get there by accident.
Jason has been tattooing for over 25 years, owned a few different studios, and has done guest spots internationally. All of that experience comes back to the shop every day.

Jason grew up in Burlington City, graduated from Burlington City High School, and has five kids. He started tattooing in 2005 and opened this shop in 2008 at 673 High Street - same spot ever since. He has owned a few different studios over the years, traveled internationally as a guest artist, and put in a lot of hours behind the machine. He does mostly large-scale black and grey work. No flash, no cookie-cutter stuff. You come in with an idea and he builds something around it.

Toys for Tots
Every year around the holidays we collect toys for kids in Burlington County through the Toys for Tots drive. Drop one off at the shop if you want to help out.
Local Sponsorships
Jason has sponsored youth sports teams and local organizations around Burlington City over the years. The community has supported this shop for a long time and we try to give some of that back.
Neighborhood Stuff
We show up to local events and fundraisers when we can. Burlington City is home and we try to act like it.
Tattoo Studio Assistant
Jason built TattooStudioAssistant.com to help other shop owners figure out the business side of running a tattoo studio. He puts out what he has learned so other artists do not have to figure it all out the hard way.

What You Can Expect
We listen first
Tell us what you want, where you want it, and what your budget looks like. We go from there. Nobody is going to push you toward something you did not come in for.
Clean shop, every session
Single-use needles, sterilized equipment, clean surfaces. This is not something we cut corners on. Ever.
Everything is drawn for you
We do not pull something off the wall and slap it on you. If you bring in a reference, we use it as a starting point and build something original around it.
Straight pricing
We tell you what it costs and we stick to it. Your deposit comes off the final price. No surprise charges when you sit down.

Talk to us
Come in or reach out. Tell us your idea, where you want it, and roughly what you are thinking size-wise. No pressure.

We draw it up
We put together a design based on what you told us. You look at it, we tweak it until it is right.
03
Sit down and get it done
We prep the area, put the stencil on, and walk you through everything before we start.

Healing and questions
We send you home with aftercare instructions and are easy to reach if something comes up.
